Re: Jolida JD100 owners poll

After about a year of ownership, the sound would speed up for a second or two. This would occur mostly on the first track of the CD. When I put the CD in and advanced the track to #2,3,4, etc., it would not happen.

I took off the cover and with the end of a ball point pen, I'd move the laser assembly back and forth. One could hear the gears move. That seemed to cure the problem. If it happened again, which it did once in a while, I would do the same thing. Everything seems ok for now, after about 9 months.

This procedure is not for the faint-hearted.
