I tend to agree with navman. Based on my experieince with B&Ws, carefull matching of speaker cables is needed to smooth out the brightness or edginess. You may want to try switching cables. Your local dealer may lend you some samples or you can try the cable company.As to the DAC, I concur with the recommendation of Audio Note DAC. Their kits are excellent as well.
