Try the Sony DVP-NS70H. I bought this to replace my Theta Data II that just died. Now at least I have decent music while I look for a real good transport to replace the Data II.
I am using the NS70H coax output into my Krell Ref 64, There is some harshness though ONLY at the highest outputs, and some lack of depth compared to Theta, but it plays every disc I put in, and has good pace, and timing, something the Theta did not do and have.
