Hi Bob .. thanks for the responses and also the email (I just replied). I think you are right . .I'm going to start checking out Pass pre-amps. I'm not sure if I can get myself to fork over 3k, though. I am going to try and audition the x2.5 vs the x1 at my local Pass dealer.
