In general, what the non-oversampling dacs do is take all the stress out of the music which is normally found in the digital medium. They are very natural and well timed and can be substituted for vinyl systems IMO on musical grounds. Vinyl can sound "fresher" and generally better but musically they are about the same level of enjoyment.
