Hey. I'm in Ireland but converted to Schuko standard for ease. Most of Europe has ~220/230 volt. I have had Oyaide Schuko/IEC connections with no issue. They aren't exactly going to melt with a higher current.
BUT- my advice is don't buy them. Oyaide and others use Platinum/Palladium/Rhodium coated phosphor bronze and, as any metallurgist will tell you, both of these are crap conductors. And I do mean like 16-18 places behind copper in terms of conductivity.
I've had a mix of silver/rhodium plated IEC/Schuko connectors and sockets from Viborg and others through various European online retailers. On a quest thats lasted years, I've finally settled on Copper/Silver/Gold Schuko outlets from Viborg and IeGO Silver coated OCC copper IEC/Schuko plugs. Clarity, slam, detail etc are all there in spades without the glare that Rhodium brings.
In fact, right now, I'm listening to finger plucking on bass strings I've never heard before through virgin gold/silver plated sockets I fitted today. I can also get past 86dB on an 825W amp without feeling like I've been hit in the head with a lead brick.
Happy cable making.
