It get better when you use better recordings, as a diehard jazz head.., for me it's how these cables in general ( as I've just received my fourth usb cable earlier today, which is the newly release Odin Gold ) with acoustic jazz | Afro-Cuban or Latin Jazz, or anything with percussion in it, is handled especially well.
And while I don't listen to rock | I can tolerate soft rock from the 60s | 70s, as many of these if recordings before 1968 still had tubes somewhere within the recording chain, as well as recorded in mono, with its extra sense of weight, sound very very nice.
