Truth is, I isn't my post, as I was merely responding to the person whom asked the question.
I've far to many years spent with different brands, and prided cables not to have gained insight into what to pursue.
I never stated Americans as being dumb, as so much as base audio gear by how big, or massive said items are..., when I had a pair of Harmonic Technologies Pro-11+ SCs in my system back in 2001, anyone who visited seemingly remarked by saying " look how big those cables are ", yet in 2005, I found myself using some rather thin ass Audience AU24 SCs, of which worked perfectly with the tube integrated amp I was using at the time.
In my mind the only time size matters, is when it's time to satisfy one's wife or girlfriend by fitting, versus falling out of the hole.
As the jargon goes " to each, his or her own ", seemingly applies, eh!.
