Your welcome | yet as I've both said 12 and 10 gauge types here, I've listened to both very very carefully | have in fact found the 10AWG version to come across as rather slower and lacks the wow factor as compared to the thinner gauged version.

In truth while I've 8 different pairs ( brands ) of SCs, where most are in fact of the 4mmx2 types, whereas I've only owned 3 of the 6mmx2 ( 10 or 11AWG ) types, yet with either SS or Tube amplification I've always found due in part because I've always been a mini-monitor user by choice, thinner SCs seemingly just fit my lifestyle more, as speed | attack of notes | the ability of said cable's transient response is more to my likings.

I'm not any type of self-claimed cable expert | yet in truth know what I hear | can only trust in my abilities to follow suit, it seems to be that Americans are more likely to buy their amps | cables | speakers as the result of cost | size making an impression of the mine is bigger | heavier | thicker than yours mindset, yet me being Canadian born, it seems the old ties to the British HiFi mindset where things are based upon the actual sound of any given product or better yet a sense of musicality and accuracy just count most to me, subjectively speaking of course.
