I guess I should add how I came about pursuing this cord | why I chose to stick with it!, awhile back Duster and a few others were talking about the bulk build DIY version, of which another member named Blake ( a fellow Canadian at that ) convinced me to try one..., let's just say once it replaced one of those Oyaide Black Mamba V2 on my then Naim Audio Nait 5Si | I knew as per my usual 2-3 tracks everything sounded more truer to the source | furthers studies of the more upscale Naim Hi-Line Power Cord, I noticed it was made using pure copper with what appeared to be a pure copper IEC Female | either one's option for rhodium or gold plated AC Male, whereas it's stablemate Super alumina IC's | SCs were using silver plated copper conductors, which struck me as odd.

Yet as belief should've it, I decided to stick with their choice of said pure copper conductors within said cord | upon selling the Nait 5Si to a buddy of mine in Canada, and placing said Viborg MBU 1606 onto the Pathos Acoustics Classic Model One MK ll, which resides out front | while the MK lll remains in our bedroom setup | it was about three weeks later when said friend inquired about a power cord to work with the Nait 5Si, of which I mailed him said Viborg, yet as I came back for a listening session the day afterwards | using a Synergistic Research Blue 12AWG cord, I felt immediately as if everything had fallen apart |?my sense of enjoyment had left, and I no longer felt the need to listen..., it took me all of 2 hours to realize it was because said Viborg did in fact not only work wonderfully with the Nait, there was something special in how it held notes together with the Pathos | within minutes I contacted said friend asking that he return the Viborg in exchange for another cord.

And as the saying goes " the rest is history ", and here I'm using a cord far cheaper then anything I've owned since the Naim Audio old and approved Volex | Tibia power cords, yet this cord does silence between | around notes unlike anything I've owned, here again compared to 3 different Synergistic Research | 4 differently priced Shunyata Research | 2 different Analysis Plus ( $600 ones at that ) | WireWorld ( too filtered for my likings ) | Acoustic Zen Satori Tsunami III..., and having learned years ago to base my findings upon any given components ( which includes cables | power cords ) way of rendering textural | tonal | pitch accuracy above all else, remains vital to this day, HiFi effects not required in our space | beyond fake ass sense of causing one to lose focus on what counts " musical purity | honesty of note ".
