It's quite stiff, just as you would imagine from the pictures. But it can certainly be bent. Easily bent to a circle of 5.5" diameter and smaller with a push. I don't know how better to respond. Sometimes a stiff cord can be made manageable with just a slightly longer length.In any event I believe you can return to Amazon with no shipping cost either way.
