In my experience, the longer cable presents a greater "load".This greater resistance tends to give a slightly "warmer" presentation, then the standard 1 meter cable..
Most of my experiments were conducted using a standard CD player digital out (coax).
Since the purchase of the MSB CD Data 4,the cable either performs or sounds less resolving.
A keeper or a quick re-sale.
