You know...yes, those HT speaker cables SHOULD sound better than those Anti-Cables. I have no hands on experience with either cable but from what I have read on these forums the Anti-Cables are suppose to be superior to any other cable under $300 a 8' pair speaker cable. Mostly. Considering trade offs and strengths of course. It seems to me that really good high end cables like the HT you have are in another class all together. It's where the cables start to get into the high end. Usually, people compare their Anti-Cables as better vs other cables in the under $300 range. Sure, one guy on here likes them better than some out dated $2000 "something" cables. But thats only one case of a cable not very well known on here. Obviously not a very good one.
Personally, if I cannot afford a truely nice cable like anything over $300 like the HT, Nordost, etc..then the Anti-Cables seem to be the best way to go. I just wish someone would compare these vs DH Labs T-14 cables. Havn't seen any feedback on that comparision yet. I have a feeling that the "twisted" Anti-Cables might be better sounding. I own a shotgun pair of DH Labs T14 cables to my Usher CP-6371 tower speakers. When I get the money I was thinking of going to HT cables.
