Hi, I went from bi-wiring with Kimber 4TC to bi-wiring with Mapleshade Clearview Golden Helix Speaker Cables.
The improvement was very worthwhile. The only reason I have ever considered replacing the Golden Helix, has been due to their stiffnes and their lack of flexibility. But I have always concluded that the sound made the rest worth living with. The Mapleshades that I use are the basic model that sold for around $80 an 8ft pair, when I bought them. I think they are one of the better deals in speaker cables.
So I think that whether going from 1pr of the Mapleshades with jumpers or two pair, you would have realized much improvement. I have to believe that the jumpers vs bi-wiring must vary, depending on the speakers themselves. But that is just my opinion.
