Re: Bi-wire vs. single run.

Hi gme,

You said: "Things were not only sounding a lot more coherent and focused, but much smoother with greater detail and presents. Has anyone less found that a single run sounded better than a bi-wire arrangement?"

Suggestion ... before you spend your money, go back to biwiring but make sure you use a jumper to connect both "return" (black!) speaker cable posts together.

Jon Risch of this Forum recommends this ... the efficacy of this tweak depends on just how the internal passive XOs in your speakers are aranged (some speakers sound better with the two black terminals jumpered; some sound no different. There IS a reason for this!!).

This tweak could be the reason why some people fail to hear the advantage of biwiring.

Regards,

Andy
