It's good to shop around a little, but that doesn't seem to far out of line for good work. Note that putting in three or four wouldn't cost that much more...

Yes I'd pay about that much for two dedicated lines, IMO it's one of the best values in terms of back for the buck, especially compared to power cords, interconnects, speaker wire, etc. (all of which also made a big difference to me as well.)

For my first four dedicated lines I paid somewhat more in a similar situation. When I added three more and needed a new breaker box the cost went up again :)

In my new space (with my MC setup) I put in 8 dedicated lines and wish I'd done more :)
