Paul,I noticed in your system details that your are using bi-wired MI-2 cables. Obviously, you must like them, but could you tell me about how they compare to other speaker cables you have tried?
Also, how much better were they bi-wired vs single run?
Of most interest to me is the bass reproduction, since my Legacys go down to about 22hz, and I already believe the Goertz are great in the mids and highs.
The reason I ask is that I am wondering about changing my speaker cables on my main system:
Legacy Audio Signature IIs
power amp is Sherbourn 5/1500A which is five mono 200wpc
Sony DA4ES as pre/pro
RCA HDDVD player as CD/movie player
Speltz anti-ICs between Sony and the power ampMy current speaker cables are a rather old set of Tara Labs RSC Prime bi-wire. These have been pretty good overall, but I wonder if the MI-2 bi-wire might offer better sound. I do have a single run of MI-2(not bi-wire) installed to my center channel speaker, and it sounds really good.
I also e-mailed you. Hope that is OK.
Thanks, Marc
