Yeah, I actually thought about having the +/- runs side by side might be less effective than separating them. Then, I thought about the voltage/current that flows through those cables, how thick the insulation is around them, shrugged, and went with the combined runs in a single Techflex sleeve mainly to make it look nice.Thanks for the tip about the polarity/phase on the Gallos.
I do have to be careful of that, since the Audible Illusions M3a doesn't automatically correct absolute phase. Frankly, I find it a little confusing - do I switch leads on the speaker cables, or only one side, at the amp or the speaker (does it make a difference?), etc.
I do hear a difference with the Gallos when in-phase. The soundstage expands dramatically in all three dimensions to well outside the speakers.
