Which is what Keith Monks and Loricraft originally used until they stopped making it. It is hard to find. I scored a lifetime supply.It is softer and allows greater vacuum without causing problems vs. the other available thread.

My mother-in-law lived in Paisley, Scotland, that was once the thread capital of the world. I learned that is the origin of the word 'spinster'. The mills employed women to spin the thread but un-married women were preferred as they did not leave to have children.

Local stereo store had a string-type RCM. They let customers bring in records for cleaning and it was free as long as you didn't show up with a crate full.

A stereo shop in Santa Barbara at the top of State Street had a Keith Monks but I think they charged you $1 per record to use it.
