Just out by Vinyl Me Please. - new reissue of FOOTLOOSE. Innovation is good but somehow I think this idea is slightly over the top. But I've been wrong before. Maybe they'll sell out in a day!
According to VMP, the cover "pays homage to Ren's shoes" in the movie. "The Obi is threaded through die cut eyelets... and ties the package together."
Follow Ups:
Comes with athlete's foot as standard. No extra fee.
...when you play Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.
The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.
You can get even closer to him HERE! Any takers?

I just can't take that music. Never was a Kenny Loggins fan to begin with, and those songs were so overplayed.
Still are.

star power, man. I wouldn't expect it from Keven Bacon but there it is, undeniably a product sold on the impressions left by Keven Bacon's performance in that movie . Some movie soundtracks are excellent listening , some are almost incoherent without the movie to explain the choices.
By the packaging alone, the product is nostalgia . I seem to alway like really gimmicky record packaging so I hope this sells well and supports the concept.
As for the music, I suppose it supports the movie, since I never could manage to view the thing all the way through. Even though, as a guy with a minor ability towards cello playing , I was very willing to watch the movie star pretty cello playing female lead actor do her thing . She had a lot of publicity shots with her playing the cello , it was her differential quality.
