Has anyone used Moongel under an amp, likely under a cutting board?
If so, how many gels would you suggest under a 65 pound amp? Also, some have writtten that the gels have a limited lifetime and flatten to become useless over time. Any experience with that?
Thanks for your help.
Follow Ups:
I use them under light equip. I have placed them under heavier wood shelves, and they do squish out pretty quick. Not the best application for them.you could try this tape. It really is more like a thick gel, and it is about as thick as Moon Gel.

Also these:
I've only used Moongel in conjunction with lighter components. I've used it between the top of a chassis and a brass "damping" weight or between a metal footer and the bottom of a chassis. This to eliminate the metal to metal contact. I probably wouldn't use it in conjunction with a 65 lb. component. What I have used is DiversiTech EVA pads directly under an IKEA or similar type cutting board that supports a heavy component.
I've had Moongel under streamer/DAC/pre/amp for about 18 months and using Ikea chopping blocks and they have retained their wobble.
The components are MUCH lighter though.
