Putin's nuclear blackmail

Ploy works because "the west" no longer understands the concept of MAD. Putin clearly believes the west would never use nukes against Russian aggression in a European theatre.

Incoming adm will pull the rug out from under Ukraine by intention. It will be obvious. Undermining of U.S. reputation and strength is unintentional and will go unrecognized until one day when the U.S. finds its not up to meeting some international challenge and finds no one to man up that coalition of the willing.
