Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

did you fire it up for 24 hours before making a judgement?

it looks like a decent amp project for restoration

I would suggest that you replace every single cap in the signal path starting with one input path only, and including the power supply caps.

Otherwise, why bother because you will most likely be going back in many times until you get lucky finding the offending capacitor even if it is a capacitor. It may be something else like a Diode that's not functioning properly or a burnt resistor.

Looks like hours and hours spent unless you get lucky, so good luck!
