I am working on a Sony PS-x5 turntable. Everything seems to work OK except that the automatic return of the tone arm seems to go faster than it should on the return. It move so quickly that it hits the post on the arm rest and "bounces" maybe a 1/4 inch from the post and comes to rest. That would not be a problem but if I start it up again from that position it move over the record and drops slightly into the first track instead of the correct position where it is supposed to drop.. If I put the tonearm against the stop post and start it, it drops where it is supposed to drop. Any ideas on how to fix this...
