Hi, Airtime is better at this than me but I had a similar problem. I went as far as buying a 2 outlet Emotiva CMx2 AC line restoration and common mode filter. I read that off the devise. It cost me 95 bucks but it's built like a tank. At first I thought it might be the dimmer switch in my room,someone told me it created ground loops. The Emotiva worked for me. I put the dimmer back in,..........in case Sandra Bullock ever came over and wanted to listen to Kraftwerk....in the dark...Mark K.
