Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

RE: Is vintage hifi still hv natural demand?

Despite the interest in vinyl that seems to be growing, I'm thinking the audience you are after is largely an older demographic. LPs, record players and turntables are trendy now. Just look at the gimmicky reiterations that always pop up on Vinyl Asylum. The electronics to playback don't seem to follow suit.
I think anything that is tube will have value. Although I don't understand why some put a premium on an original, non-restored piece. Restoring older tube gear can be a labor of love especially if a tech is needed to do the work. The people that were capable just aren't around like they used to be for various reasons.
By the way, although not to your extent, I'm in the same boat.
