Thank you for your encouragement .They have the original Crown parts that they acquired when they bought Elkhart franchise. Does it make sense to use 35 year old parts or am I missing something here. Nice guys out there. Just like the very forward sound stage on the SL2 PREAMP which is great with organ music and had a decent phono amp.. Do not know the mechanic wear with knobs to circuits etc.
