RE: Fisher X100 Faceplate

I did the faceplate of my Harmon Kardon Citation 4. It was made of steel and was rusty and nasty.

I took it to a place which did graphic arts. The lady there generated artwork for a silkscreen. She did a fine job. She nailed the OEM font. They could only silkscreen shirts and signs so I was on my own for the actually screening.

Next I took it to a vintage car bumper shop and they sanded the front panel and satin chromium plated it. Then I took it to a silkscreen shop in Silicon Valley and had it silkscreened. It came out very nice but I think it cost me ~ twice what the Citation 4 sold for new.
