Mike has the proper procedure to restore this - and most any other tube amp, for that matter.
Only after this is done will you *really* be able to know what its capable of. Given the results of Mike's technique I've experienced on Mac and Harmon-Kardon amps, you'll be quite pleased, I'm sure.
