...I also service equipment for a local record shop. He has a regular tech most of the time and I work on stuff that interests me mostly.The regular tech uses Liquid Wrench, Non-Flamable, with Teflon for most switch, pot and L-pad cleaning.
I have to say for $2 a can, this stuff does work pretty good and the gear doesn't come back in a month with the same problem.
Of course, YMMV, tax and title are extra and WTFDIK.
