NoIf it sound contradictary it is because it will depend on the condition of the components in each amp.
The key will be to make sure both amps receive the same treatments so they stay voiced the same which means you'll be attacking the lowest common denominator of each component in each amp, i.e. if 1 section of 1 of the multisection cans is too far off spec, you'll need to replace both with the same spec unit to keep voicing the same. When completed you'll have a nice set of amps. The weak point in the amps is the faceplate with the white paint that as good as it was applied after all these decades tends to have been worn through. One day someone will attack 1 of these to figure out how to strip and recondition. With the new epoxy paints I'll bet a nice reconditioning could be done.
