Thank you all for the input..Here i am trying to fix up all my vintage stuff - I think I hit critical mass a while ago.
I will give the better stuff to my kids or sisters -if they want it
OR i will sell off the excess to the asylum community.
Sadly as we found out - everybody wants surround sound -mostly crappy
effects - or IPOD convenience...It is a worhtwhile hobby because it connects you to the sound of real music..Granted some of us seek the holy grail of great sound - for soundsake- others want to have some semblance of live music ..The glowing lights of tubes are alluring
maidens...We have come full circle to those sirens...
How many others found that you can't give away the good stuff
and yet its harder to find them -as well ?
