Go for a fisher 500C, 800 or 400. I have a Jolida 502B, modded and tubed with NOS Tung Sols and NOS front end tubes. Its a good amp and sounds pretty good, but I bought a 500C a few months ago and it kills the jolida in sound and especially build. You'll have to pay over $2000 to get a tube amp that will match the fisher in build quality and sound, and then you will not have the resale value the fisher will. Get the best example you can, if you shop ebay, try to get one with all the original tubes, knobs, clean...have it restored and you will be very happy with what you end up with for under $600-700.
