Visited several fabric stores today and came across a cream colored silk-like material called handwoven dupion, $16.50 per yard. Available in ivory and eggshell, too. All three close in color and might be near enough to moorish CG/symphony material. Sending sample to my friend who lives out of state.Regarding the contemporary style CG, cotton muslin or cotton osnaburg has right texture and look, but we aren't sure if high frequencies would suffer. Anybody have first-hand experience with 100% cotton?
