I found a nice looking pair of medium sized KLH speakers, the model ten. they have nice birch veneer cabinets that seem very solid. The grills are an unusual light cream color, almost white, and there is an unusual vinyl looking trim around the front edges of the speakers. I can't figure out a non-destructive way to get a look at the drivers as the grill seems quite attached. By feel I suppose there are two drivers and a port, or three drivers. The speaker terminals have provisions for biamping, or at least driving the woofer separately from the tweeter.Only one speaker has a front logo, and it is along the long side as if they are made to lie horizontally on a shelf.
I would appreciate any info on how they sound and what type of amplifier would be best. I'm guessing they were made during the transition from tube to solid state.
Thanks in advance,
RT Barr
