I saw some speakers on Craig's list that looked ominously like large advents. The ad said speakers for sale...that's it. They had black speaker grills, but the rounded beveled edge was a dead giveaway. I emailed the guy asking him what brand they were. He replied "Advent, some no name, just basic speakers". I quickly drove over and sure enough they were the real thing. As a bonus the foam had been replaced fairly recently.
They were a bit scratched up and did not sport the original grill cloth, but work perfectly, so I snagged them for $10. Who says there's no God.
