Hey this is one nice standing for a preamp. I tried this on a few amps and it sounds pretty DARN good! Very articulate, open and Excellent range and dynamics. I think it may actually be a little TOO crispy and could lead to fatique eventually. But fun all the same.
Marantz really put a lot of thought into this unit. It seems to be VERY different from any other receiver I have previously tried from Marantz, except the big expensive units.
