russ 57/6922 tubes

4.131.211.226

well i put in place the electro/harmonix 6922 tubes in place of the phillips that came stock on my ah tjoeb cd player. i had briefly used these tubes with my epi 202's and did not like the sound and went back to the phillips. on my bozak symphonies with pat tobins modification the electro/harmonix sound very nice. not as etched as the original phillips tubes but with rich warm tone. will run them through the week and hear what i hear. my amps on the top end (fisher az 70 monoblocks/bizzy bee upgrades) use electro/harmonix el 34's. any opinion of these? something better without spending a fortune?
