Nice score Jim! I also picked up one of these a while back after reading some of the comments here which said it was in the same class as an 8B. I've never heard an 8B but it seems like you have. Any more comments on how the two compare? I rebuilt mine and used mostly the Russian K40 PIO caps and the sound is wonderfull. It's currently doing duty in a biamped setup I'm trying out using an active crossover. Got it powering the lows through a pair of Bozaks in open back cabinets. Before that it was running full range with a pair of KLH 6 speakers. I don't have any electrostats but I bet it sounds amazing with them. What vintage electrostats are you using? . . . Charlie
