JJ 7591S - lower gain???

Hi,
I have just received a new pair, dropped into the left channel of my restored Fisher 500c.
Respectful sound came out from both channels, but hay, the right channel with old Fisher 7591A tubes sounds louder, I needed to use the balance to correct the sound level.
Besides the gain of the new JJ, there is nothing like the original tube, structure-wise.
Anyone cares to share the experience with this tube?
