Hi -want to thank you all for the help in consolidating ideas
and the Sennheiser headphones info..
I found that the new 457 headphones are a close cousin
to the old 414's B & H photo has them for 29.77 -free shipping
Well- went for a Marantz 6000 tuner for the wife
60 presets ! and Remote - will unbox and try out this weekend
Found one on ebay for $ 113..Vintage tuners are nice
but some of the older gear are like old Porsches ...
nice to covet and finally own and restore - but a lot
of work in the final analysis...This one has to be easy for her
to use .. with her limited eyesight...The long dials must have been
hard to read and navigate....
for her to read ..
