Hello:I have a lovely old Kenwood KT-8007, which turned up over the weekend. The tuner is rather impressively built and sounds stunning, though the muting is inoperative right now.
I now need to replace all of the lamps for illumination in the tuner and hope that someone can provide me with the exact spec for the four main miniature globe type lamps for the dial as well as the multitude of even more miniature lamps which illuminate modes and the meters.
I get something like 8.0 vac on the pins, but the filaments in the lamps are pretty much universally open, due to age and nothing else.
It would be great to know not only the proper operating voltage, but the current spec as well.
Thanks in advance!
