My 4312 is more Magnum Dynalab in sound than the all tube Scotts I have. I had a 310 E but sold it before I realized what I had. I put NOS nuvistors in when I got it, just cause... I have a college classical station relatively close, just use one of the Magnum Dynalab silver ribbon rabbit ears-style antenna. I have an Accuphase T101 that's been my go to for some time. Sound-wise its more lush than the Scott...not really better just different.
