Home Radio Road

Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

RE: "Commercial Radio Is A Sick Patient In Need Of Surgery"

Hi belyin,

I moved not too long ago, and being at the bottom of a hill that stands between my house and the main cluster of stations to the south, I thought I may as well give up on radio reception altogether.

Fortunately, a relatively new community / public station has begun operation nearby, and I have LOS reception to it.

I used to enjoy the public radio when I lived in the big city to the south, but had become disenchanted as it seemed to be getting too big to offer eclectic and varied, listener-driven programming. I am hopeful this new station will bring back that magic.
