I built that Music Machine project that uses -140 volts on the phase splitter. Would a tube rectifier vs a solid-state rectifier make a difference sonically in a circuit like that? How about an oil type filter cap vs electrolytic?How about a fixed grid bias supply?
I never put much thought into a negative power supply.
