As much as will fit. You need a choke that will pass 1.5 amps and be fairly small. At the bottom of this link is a nice 1.5 amp filiment choke. Also, you want to have a cap before and after the choke to make a CLC filter (Pi Filter) which has the greatest effectiveness.
