I dont know if this is appropriate or not to post somthing like this in here but I had frequently noticed the name Michael Samra quite a lot lately in here and it seems to me about 15 years ago thats who I had repair and mod my CJ Premier three preamplifier that I thought was totaled due to child beverage spillage.If I recall correctly he lived somewhere in the upper midwest like in Ohio or Michigan or maybe Indiana and he was just beginning to teach school after he got custody of his daughter I'm thinking??? If its the guy I'm thinking of he did a really nice job repairing the damage and brought it back to life and put in these IAR Wonder caps that were gigantic white jobs and the preamp is still running very well after all this time but it can use a little attention now I suppose.Its used everyday for a minimum of 3 hours. Does this sound like the guy? Its been so long and I rememeber making his aquaintance in the old audio mart publication out of Virginia.I would really like to find out if at all possible and how to get a hold of him or if it is in fact the Michael I had fix the preamp before.I'm rather new to the audio asylum so if I appear a little dense try not to go too hard on my simplistic mind hi hi.
