Do you speak from some experience with them?It doesn't make any sense to me that they would get hot and hum on 120V... they are rated at 115V 50/60Hz, and I would expect plenty of margin, especially on 60Hz - probably much more than the 300 series, as the 700 series is targeted more at commercial applications.
