Need some advice on grounds. Probably a very simple question. I'm putting together my first tube amp - ("Audio Xpress" April 2004). I'm hardwiring the circuit. I have one channel completed and will be finishing it up this weekend. According to the schematic (it's a simple circuit), grounds for each channel are at the input, output tube cathode, as well as at the power supply and filament heaters. Is it ok to ground all these points to one point on the chassis?
Should there be a separate ground point for each channel?
If I use a grounded power plug (3 prong), does the ground on that cord (green wire)get grounded to the chassis points? If yes, then I presume I can take all ground points in the circuit for both channels to one chassis point. Am I correct?I apologize in advance if these questions are too basic or elementary. This is my first time posting to this site.
Thanks for your help - Ron
