Good question! I've attempted this by creating two models. One model attempts to figure out what the B+ will be (your model #1?), and the other model is intended to look at ripple for each channel (model #2). In fact mine was worse as I was using chokes with different values, and I split the primary section from the secondary instead of splitting by channel.Don't know if I was doing it right though.
